Sian wanted to pursue her passion for photography and had found an online course suited to her needs. She received £455 from one me to cover the fee for this course. - “The problem for me though was funding the course as I’m on a low income so the funding possibility by one me was a chance to make this happen. One me has made my dream come true and I'm very grateful for their support. I doubt very much I could have found another way so quickly and easily to fund my course and so it's brilliant that one me can help disadvantaged young people like myself to realise their full potential.”

Iain has been living independently since he was 17, so requested financial assistance from one me to help him continue his studies. A grant of £547 has allowed him to purchase a computer to this end. - “Being able to work on my project at home will free up a lot of time in school and help me balance my work between all my subjects. With this, I hope I can achieve my full potential and achieve the grades required to go to university. One me has now given me the confidence to really achieve the best that I can for my future, and they are allowing me to advance forward without anything holding me back, and for that, I am extremely grateful.”
“Community is at the heart of everything we do at Software Europe... It’s our pleasure to support one me and its mission to help young people fulfill their potential. There is some amazing young talent in Lincoln and we’re passionate about helping to nurture it, through things such as work placements, workshops and mentor schemes with local schools or careers fairs.” - testimonial by Neil Everatt, Chief Executive Officer, Software Europe

Toby was provided with £300 for a graphical calculator and maths books so that he could further his studies. - “At school we always stuck so tightly to the curriculum, it was a really restrictive way of teaching, where we couldn’t learn anything that wouldn’t come up in the exam – no matter how useful it would be to know. I couldn’t get that information and learn what I needed in school so this money will really help me get where I need to be. I’ve used the money to gain a broader and more in-depth knowledge of the topics being covered in my degree. That’s a head start that I simply wouldn’t have had without one me.”

Chloe reached out to us as she was struggling to get the reading materials she needed for her subjects. A grant of £180 allowed Chloe to purchase these books. - ”Since receiving the grant, I have been able to relax a lot more when it comes to studying and the pressure for my January mock exams seems less intimidating. I’m a lot more confident in my knowledge and my work and most of all enjoy reading and learning more about the topics I study, which make it a lot more enjoyable for me in the long run.”
